Beloved wife of Nicholas J. "Nick" Evanovich; loving mother of Nicholas J. "Nick" (Sue) Evanovich, Jr.; grandmother of Kelly (Andy) McNeilis and Nicholas J. "N.J." Evanovich, III; great-grandmother of Cammy, Isla, Caiden and Jude. Dorothy was predeceased by her three brothers Richard, Harry, and Bill Geyer. Friends will be received at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood 15227 on Saturday, February 4, 2017 from 6-8 p.m. and Sunday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Funeral prayer on Monday morning at 9:15. Mass of Christian Burial in St. Sylvester Church at 10:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, family suggests contributions to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
