Obituary For Dorothy M. (Schorr-Topley) Williams

Born on March 4, 1937, passed peacefully on Tuesday, October 19, 2021, of Pleasant Hills.

Beloved wife of the late Richard K. Williams; daughter of the late Victor M. and Loretta A. Schorr (Eckert); mother of Richard J. (Dawn) Topley and Donna M. (Marion L. Keefer) Topley; sister of Charles Schorr (the late Virginia) and Loretta Jean Schorr; preceded in death by sisters Eleanor Galvin (the late William), Alma Johnson Reardon (the late Jack) and Mary Schorr; grandmother of Breanne Topley and Justin Topley. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Dorothy was a lifetime banker having worked for over 34 years in the banking industry and retiring in 1986. She was an avid baker and cook, enjoyed RV'ing and camping with her late husband and family as well as traveling throughout the country. She enjoyed visiting many national and state parks and enjoyed old fashioned picnics. She dearly loved her beagles, even if they were all a bit overweight. There will be no visitation. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, October 25, 2021 in Triumph of the Holy Cross Parish, St. Thomas A' Becket Catholic Church, 139 Gill Hall Road, Clairton, PA. Interment at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies will be private. Arrangements made by John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood 15227.
