Obituary For Dorothy S. Leonard

July 4, 1930 - November 7, 2014

Leonard, Dorothy S. (Strobel) Age 84, on Friday, November 7, 2014, formerly of Baldwin Boro.

Loving wife of the late Jack Leonard; beloved mother of John (Sue), Jane (Tom) Kitchen, William (Karen), Robert (Marge), Mary Ann (Dave) Miller and David (Tracy); daughter of the late Hugh and Genevieve Strobel; sister of Gen (Joe) Koepfinger and the late Mary Donohoe; proud grandmother of 14 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; also survived by many nieces and nephews and dear childhood friend Lois Held. Dorothy's family would like to thank the staff of Asbury Heights and Family Hospice for their wonderful care. Friends will be received at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood 15227, Monday from 3-8 p.m. Funeral Prayer on Tuesday morning at 9:15. Mass of Christian Burial in St. Gabriel of The Sorrowful Virgin Church at 10:00 am. Interment will be private. If desired, family suggests contributions to St. Gabriel Church, 5200 Greenridge Drive, Pittsburgh, PA 15236.
