To the family of Bill Ivey, I am deeply saddened to learn of his passing. I and my sons have the fondest of memories of Doc Ivey from our days in Indian Guides with him and his two boys. Our friendly competition between the always dominant Erie tribe under his leadership and our Toba tribe brings back wonderful memories of those times. He was the fairest, friendliest and hardest working competitor and friend. May he rest in piece and may all of you find comfort in knowing how we all loved your dad and grandpa. Phil Levine

It was a privilege to know Bill Ivey through his active participation in all aspects of the Baldwin Community United Methodist Church. I cannot say enough good things about Bill and have fond memories of both he and Ann. The world is a better place due to Bill's kindness, love, and many gifts and talents along with a servant's heart. My thoughts and prayers are with the family who shared with Bill the blessings of a life well lived. I will never think of Bill without a smile on my face and extreme gratitude for having known him.
