Obituary For E. Jean Dubich

Age 95, passed peacefully surrounded by her loving family, on Friday July, 23rd 2021, of Whitehall. Wife of the love of her life for 57 years, to the late John Dubich; mother of John Darras (Kim) Dubich, Mary Kay (Dale) Chodor; loving MéMé of Katie (Jim) Elk, the late Patrick (Jessica) Boyle, Leona Dubich (Jared), Meghan (Chase) Campbell, Alyson Boyle (Brendan), Marcia (Dave) Walters, Clayton Dubich (Brittney); daughter of the late Charles D. and Leona Russell; sister of Audrey Friday and the late Ariel Russell, Lois Morgan, and Mary Virginia Kowalski. She is also survived by Jacob, Olivia, Alexandra, Johnathan, Caleb, Luke, Anna, Cole, Madilyn, Max, Shane, Macey, and Rowyn who knew her as GG. Aunt DeDe/Jean was loved by many nieces and nephews. On Friday heaven gained an angel. As a devout Catholic, she was beautiful inside and out and was a caregiver to many. With John she shared a love for golf, and they opened their home for many years to 27 foster babies. Jean was an avid bargain shopper who was eager to share her treasures with everyone. Friends will be received at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc. 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood Pa, 15227 on Monday, July 26, 2021 from 2-8p.m. Funeral prayers on Tuesday morning at 9:45. Mass of Christian Burial at Blessed Trinity Parish, St. Albert the Great Church on Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. A burial will be held Thursday, July 29th, at 10:30, in the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies. Due to a family health concern, Jeans’ family asks that floral arrangements be limited.
