Obituary For Earl C. Gelzhiser

Age 89, unexpectedly on Friday, February 21, 2025 of Baldwin Boro.

Beloved husband of the late Barbara A. Gelzhiser; loving father to Teri L. (Rob) Swick and Janet L. (John Binotto, Jr.) DeBiasi; proud grandfather of Justin (Lauren) Klobuchir, Valerie (Cory) Burton, Amber (Kevin) Fisher and the late Jarrod DeBiasi; great-grandfather of Charlie, Heath, Reid, Emma, Grant and Baby Fisher; cherished brother of Joan (the late Gus) Linder. Also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Earl is the best Daddy to his two girls. Friends will be received at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Rd., Brentwood 15227, Tuesday, February 25, 2025 from 3:00 - 8:00 p.m., funeral prayer on Wednesday morning, at the funeral home, at 9:30 a.m., followed by a funeral service at St. Peter's Episcopal Church at 10:30 a.m.
