Edward A. Miller, Jr. passed away on Friday, June 26, 2026. Ed is survived by his longtime companion, Jean. Brother of David (Laura) Miller and the late Dennis Miller. Uncle of DJ and the late Marcus Miller. Ed was a respected member of the Steamfitters Local Union 449. He loved hunting and fishing and spending time with his many long-term friends. His sense of humor entertained everyone, young and old, and he had a kind and generous heart. He will be greatly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him. Friends will be received at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood, PA 15227, on Wednesday, July 1 from 2:00-4:00 p.m. and 6:00-8:00 p.m. A Blessing service will be held on Thursday, July 2 at the John F. Slater Funeral Home Chapel at 11:00 a.m. If desired, Ed's family suggests contributions to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
