Obituary For Edward A. Murphy

Age 102, on Saturday, November 28, 2020, of Brentwood, formerly of Brookline.

Loving husband of the late Bernadette Helferty Murphy of 65 years; beloved father of Ed (Sharon), Jim (Rita), Maureen (Michael) Swan, Kathleen (the late Joe) Pierre, and Jane (Ken) Stankus; proud "Pap" of Amanda Murphy, Colleen (John) Ciprich, and Maria Murphy, Ethan Swan, Evann (Nestor) Tomycz, Jaclyn (Victor) Stukat Gren, Daniel (Agnes) and David (Hannah) Pierre, Chloe (Sean) Matthews, Gabri (Tim) Vandall, Phoebe, Tommy, Jimmy, and Andrew Pierre, and Sydney (Connor) McWilliams; great-grandfather "Lazybones" of Sage, Lida, Nolan, Daphne, and Henry Tomycz, Elin and Leo Stukat Gren, and Ryan and Cece Matthews; brother of the late Jack (Helen), Donald (Peggy), David (Eleanor), and Paul Murphy; also survived by many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held privately. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, December 3 at Blessed Trinity Parish, St. Sylvester Church at 10:30 a.m. Please meet at the church.
