Obituary For Edward L. Yanke

Age 67, of Carrick, passed away on Tuesday, October 12, 2021.

Beloved husband of Debra Yanke; loving father of Joe (Rachel) Yankee and Mike Yankee; proud Pap of David, Austin, Zachary, and Kylie; son of the late Larry and Dorothy Yankee; brother of William (Carol) Yanke, the late Mildred Lueckert, and Kathy (the late Dan) Welsh; son-in-law of Imogene Kirkpatrick; brother-in-law of Darla (Rick) Wauchter, Richard (the late Barbara) Burton, Gale (the late Steve) Tomko, and James Burton. Also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and their families. Ed was an avid softball player, baseball coach, and Pittsburgh Penguins fan. Friends will be received at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood 15227, Monday, October 18, and Tuesday, October 19 from 2:00 pm - 8:00 pm. A funeral prayer will be held at 7:30 pm on Tuesday evening.
