Obituary For Edward N. Gerdun

May 7, 1937 - September 19, 2016

Gerdun, Edward N. Age 79, on Monday, September 19, 2016, of Elizabeth Township, formerly of Baldwin.

Beloved husband of Jackie (Stock); father of James Gerdun, Elizabeth Gerdun, Lisa Saunders and Lenny Kratt; grandfather of Caitlyn, Jessica, Nicholas, Morgan, Colton and Remy; brother of Barb Wilkinson and Ruth Staresinic; also survived by many nieces and nephews. Ed was a hard-working, well-respected architect and entrepreneur, a great conversationalist, and dog lover (Bart and Rocky.) Friends will be received at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood 15227, Saturday from 2-6 p.m. Funeral services will be held privately. If desired, family suggests contributions to American Diabetes Association, 100 W. Station Square Drive, Ste. 1900, Pittsburgh, PA 15219 or Western PA Humane Society, 1101 Western Avenue, Pittsburgh, PA 15233.
