March 15, 1956 - July 19, 2019

Jankowski, Edward R., Jr. "Rick" Age 63, after a long illness on Friday, July 19, 2019, of Baldwin Boro.

Beloved husband of 41 years to Linda S. (Maryniak); proud father of Nicole B. and Daniel R. Jankowski; very proud Pap Pap to Dustin and Travis; brother of the late Steven (survived by Cheryl) Jankowski; son-in-law to Sylvia (the late Harry) Maryniak. Also survived by brother-in-law Gary (Debby) Maryniak, nephews and family. Rick was a well-known Mason for BAC Local #9. Friends will be received at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood 15227, Monday from 3 - 8 p.m. Where a Blessing Service will be held on Tuesday at 11:00 a.m.

    My Deepest Sympathy to all of Edward's family. I am also of his family. He was my 2nd cousin on the Jankowski side. Edwards father was my mothers 1st cousin. Edwards grandfather was my Great Uncle Anthony. Anthony's father was Joseph Jankowski my great grandfather. Great Uncle Anthony had a brother in Pittsburgh, Andrew, a brother Julius in Nanticoke, PA, and a sister Mrs. Tessie Dudny in Kerry Valley, PA. Julius was my mothers father. He died in 1925, 2 months before my mother was born. I never asked my Grandmother much about Julius. I do have a picture of him. I always hoped I would find his family. I found his obituary on Ancestry DNA. So through that I am finding the family. I live in Mountaintop, PA. Born and raised in Nanticoke, PA. Would LOVE to hear from any of the family.
