Buchek, Edward S.,Sr. Age 62, on Monday, January 2, 2017, of Brentwood, formerly of Bethel Park.

Survived by Lisa Buchek; father of Edward S.Buchek, Jr. and Heather Buchek-Hickey, both of Irwin, PA; grandfather of Aiden, Lila and Victoria; son of the late Stanley and Anna Buchek; brother of Carol (Frank) O'Brian of Boardman, OH; also survived by his nieces, Traci O'Brian and Camie (Mark) Costanzo. Edward was a former police officer with Brentwood Borough and Duquesne University. Friends will be received at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood 15227, Friday January 6, 2017 from 6-8 p.m. Funeral Prayer on Saturday morning at 9:15. Mass of Christian Burial in St. Valentine Church at 10:00 am.
