Szalla, Elaine W. Age 76, after a courageous battle with various health issues, on Friday, March 9, 2018, of Whitehall .

Beloved wife of 55 years to Chet Szalla; loving mother of Douglas (Susan) and Kent (Amy); proud Nana of Max, Ava and Reid; daughter of the late Cyril and Vera Winslow; sister of Ken Winslow, Karen Rose, Janis Koslow and Tim Winslow; also survived by several nieces and nephews. Elaine was a voracious reader, always seeking knowledge. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother, and all around wonderful person, who will be deeply missed by all who knew her. There will be no visitation. A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, March 12, 2018, in Holy Apostles Parish, St. Albert The Great Church at 10:30 a.m. If desired, family suggests contributions to Holy Apostles Parish, 3198 Schieck Street, Pittsburgh, PA 15227.
