Still remember meeting her at Pastor Rick Kardell's Monday night prayer meeting as if it were yesterday! She was a Blessing to my wife and I for so many months before she disappeared! We prayed and prayed during the entire time she was missing pretty much assuming anything could have became of her! MURDERED, though??? No way! Who could kill such a warm hearted woman? I recall the feeling when I found out my brother Billy was murdered back on 09/14/1995 in his own home right in front of his fiance! That mountain of shock and sorrow! Billy was such a beautiful loving human being! The man lived shirtless because he continuously gave his own away, so to speak! When we just happened to be watching the news, which isn't common for us, we heard Betsy's name and... Eh hem! Hedges of His Angels around all those effected by this tragic event! Even this long after it happened it still feels like yesterday! 😔 ❤ 🙏 -Gary David Oesterle 12/18/2022

I read your Mom's story on Facebook and it saddened my nursing heart to know her life was taken so needlessly. She is floating on her cloud in Heaven. Cathy Chasse

My deepest sympathy to Betsy's family. We are terribly saddened of this outcome. We miss her so much. She was a very caring neighbor to my son. She loved taking walks with him and her dog. She was his angel. She always cared about his well-being and they were friends. Now may Betsy Rest In Peace.

My deepest Sympathy to all who knew and loved the greatest most kindest, caring and loving person that I have ever met in my life. Her smile alone brightened my day along with the cherished memories and compassion we had for our lord. Although my heart be hurt forever she will always remain close to me for the rest of my life. May God bring you healing and peace always. With love and sincerity~ Josh
