Obituary For Elizabeth "Betty" Englert

Age 100, on Thursday, May 26, 2022, of Whitehall.

Beloved wife of the late Walter J. Englert; Loving mother of Marlene (Roy) Rubican, John W. (Elaine) Englert, Mary (Thomas) Mitro, Karen (Richard) Dively, Joseph (Amy McFarland) Englert, Gary P. (Shari) Englert, and the late William (Vera) Englert; grandma of 21 grandchildren and great-grandma of 31 great-grandchildren; daughter of the late William and Margaret Rau; sister of the late William Rau; also survived by many nieces and nephews. A longtime member of St. Gabriel's Church, Betty was an avid fan of playing bingo, card games and puzzle books. She was loved by many and will be dearly missed. Friends will be received at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood 15227, Tuesday, May 31, 2021 from 4-8 pm. Funeral Prayer on Wednesday morning at 10:00 am. Mass of Christian Burial in Our Lady of Hope Parish at St. Gabriel Church at 11:00 am .
