To the family of Betty I was sorry to hear of her passing. She was a beloved customer and dear friend of mine. For over 40 years,. at Prospect beauty salon, and then we moved to ByGeorge. She was like a second mom . I was so sad when Covid came and I had to close my salon, and I lost contact with all these dear ladies. She was a very special person to me and I extend my deepest sympathies to the family. I was so sorry I missed the funeral ❤️‍🩹 Nancy Mackin

I cherish three simple memories. Building with cereal boxes at the kitchen table while Grandma cooked or cleaned (or whatever she did, I was a little kid and didn't pay close attention) for Thanksgiving. Her telling me details about Harry Potter before I even read the books. Going to Eat N Park together when I visited solo for a week. These moments remind how Grandma was always looking after others and their needs and that she knew how to give us our own special and sweet time together, however simple. I love and miss you Grandma!
