Toogood, Elizabeth M. "Bette" (Haenze), age 94, peacefully at home on Friday, December 5, 2014 of Whitehall. Beloved wife of 74 years to Clifford G. Toogood; loving mother of Clifford J. "Biff" and Bradford (Carol); devoted grandmother of Alicia, Christine, Victor, Michelle and Timothy; proud great-grandmother of Joseph, Joshua, Rachel, Emmy Jo, Sadie Rose, Jessica, Andrew and Dustyn; great great-grandmother of Kole. She worked for Western Union during WWII and was a long-time member of Zion Lutheran Church. Bette will be deeply missed by her family and friends. Friends will be received at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood 15227 on Monday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. where funeral services will be held on Tuesday morning at 11:00.
