Else (Wolf) Karamarkovich peacefully fell asleep in the Lord this week. Born in Lippstadt Germany. She was married to the late Dushan (Duke) Karamarkovich in 1948 and immigrated together to America in 1949. Her life centered around the foundation of her Orthodox Christian faith and the love of God. She had a heart of gold and was a gift to all that knew her. After losing her beloved Dushan, she continued to give of herself, even when there was nothing really left to give, she always found a way. Else was the last surviving member of her family and leaves behind her devoted Kumovi and many loyal beloved friends who were her “guardian angels” up until her passing. Friends will be received at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Pittsburgh, PA 15227 on Saturday, December 3, 2022 from 11:00 a.m. to noon at which time a funeral service will be held. Interment will be held privately. Else’s final wishes were that in lieu of flowers, donations be made in her memory to the following charities that were dear to her: Tunnel to Towers-t2t.org, Wounded Warrior- woundedwarriorproject.org, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital-stjude.org/givehope. May God Bless her soul and grant her eternal peace as she now rests with her beloved “Dushko” and the rest of her family in the House of our Lord. Memory Eternal +Else, you will be missed by all who knew and loved you. May 05, 2023 November 30, 2022 November 28, 2022Else Karamarkovich
