I am so blessed to have had you in my life for as long as I did. I have so many memories of you from the time I was a little girl. I remember walking to your house and Tina walking me back home. Hanging out with my cool older cousins, only to find out later, you made them take me with them to spy on them. You taught me how to play gin and other card games. All through the years you have been there. I'm going to miss you so much. I loved going to bingo with you, even thou you would loudly comment on how many cards other people were playing or how many tickets they bought, you was such a character, it made me laugh. Every time we went out you always made me smile because you was so special and near and dear to my heart. I always felt closer to my grandmother even though she wasn't here. I am so comforted to know the pointer sisters are together again and watching over all of us. We all love you so much and will miss you, until we see you again.

Sue Michel Mark I am so sorry. Your Mom was such a sweet person. I still think about her when I put on eyeliner. She told me a long time ago that every girl should wear eyeliner! You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers. Susie

Jean was the coolest and most spunky 96 year old I've ever met! You will be missed dearly at our family holiday celebrations but never forgotten. Mark will have to continue your legacy of the Trucker beans plate you would always make. Rest easy with the good Lord Jean, love Bryan, Rita and Brayden.

Heartfelt sympathies to Jean's family and friends. Jean was my classroom aide at Martin Luther King School for many years. She was a joy to work with every day. Not only was she excellent at her job, she was also a wonderful friend. When she retired, there never was anyone who could replace her. She was the best!

Aunt Jean was always one of my favorites her sense of humor kept me guessing and her laugh was contagious. It seemed like her and my mother were attached at the hip it was fun to be around her and her stories about the family. I will miss my Wednesday stopping to see her after golf were she would share her stories with me and I would share my children and grandkids lives with her. She will be deeply missed by Barb and I. My world was brighter with her in it. Love you Aunt Jean till we are united again. P.S. give mum a hug for me.

My favorite memory of Jean is when she took me and Seth to the movies. She'd sneak us in a bunch of snacks - chips, candy, even cans of pop - all in her purse. Seth and I would sit in the front row and horse around until we got in trouble. If I stayed for dinner, sometimes we'd go to Ponderosa Steakhouse, which was a treat because my family never took us there. She always said that I "ate like a bird". I didn't know what that meant, but looking back, it was probably true! - Scott Poploski

I have many memories of Aunt Jean from my childhood and I always remembered her as the best dressed family member with the most beautiful makeup who was full of spunk. I had the opportunity to see her once or twice a year as a young child at my Grandma Goldie's house or when we made a trip to Pittsburgh. My most favorite memory of Aunt Jean took place at my wedding in June of 2009. I believe it had been about 8 years since I last saw her, because I had moved to NM for work. She was dressed beautifully for my wedding and all made up as usual. I went to greet her at the table and gave her a big hug while thanking her for attending the wedding! She looked at me and said "which Kraft boy do you belong to?" I responded with Larry and she said "which one is Larry again?" She always got the Kraft brothers mixed up but she was always tons of fun when she was around. She will be missed by so many! My prayers are with Mark, Ritchie and the entire family as they mourn the loss of such a beautiful woman. I send love and comfort as you navigate through the coming weeks without Aunt Jean.

When Scott and me were little in the 70s, when Gramma Jean came over and our friends saw her ,they always said ,Is your Gramma a movie star? So beautiful, in every memory. Inside and out. Give my mom and aunt Linda a big hug, see ya again when my day comes, thank you for always loving me

  • April 08, 2025

My deepest sympathies to the Kraft family. I remember when we were kids your mom's door was aways open. One of the best memories was a sleepover with about five or six of us. We were going fishing the next day . I can't believe your mom put up with all of us . Mark I also remember you arguing with her all the time when we were kids. Lol. She truly was a saint. May she rest in peace.

Aunt Jeannie was one of a kind. She cherished and embraced the happy times and was a pillar of strength, dignity and class through the very tough times she had faced throughout her life. Jesus has called her home and welcomed her saying good job my loyal and faithful servant. I hope heaven has your favorite lipstick.

I moved here from California (the state) when I married Aunt Jean's nephew Larry. I remember the first time I met her. She was warm and welcoming. She always dressed and looked amazing, and she was pretty funny too. She always got my husband and his brothers mixed up.. often calling them the wrong names. It made me laugh! When my own son Nick was in high school we had a family gathering for something. My son had been having a bit of a stomach upset. Aunt Jean jumped right into action announcing quite loudly that he should take Imodium AD.. she even had some in her purse and that it would be an instant cure for his diarrhea. Aunt Jean was beautiful both inside and out. She suffered more heartache than most with the loss of two daughters. She loved her family...all of us and the last time I saw her she beamed with the love of her grandchildren and great grandchildren. I feel so blessed to have known her love! I know today God is holding her in the palm of his hand. Rest easy sweet Aunt Jean. We will meet again one day..

I'll always remember when Aunt Jean came to stay over in Sandy Run one weekend. When she got up in the morning she said hey Goldie how do you guys ever sleep in. There must be a thousand bids singing outside. We all got a good laugh out of that. You will always be in my heart and memories. I love you. Your best looking nephew Paul

I sure will miss Aunt Jean. I would get a laugh when she would get me confused with my other brothers. When Aunt Jean and the family would come to the country. (Greene County, Pa.) She was always so nice to all of us nephews. I'm so greatful for having her in our life. She will surely be missed by everyone. Love, your nephew Michael.πŸ™
