Obituary For Eugene T. Young

Age 89, on Tuesday, October 19, 2021, of Whitehall, formerly of South Side.

Beloved husband of the late Beverly J. (Neilson); loving father of Sharon (Jess) Shallenberger and Brian (Dottie) Young; grandfather of Jess and Jason; brother of Evelyn and Dolly. Also survived by various nieces and nephews. Friends will be received at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood 15227 on Thursday, October 21, 2021 from 6-8 p.m. Funeral prayer on Friday morning at 9:15. Mass of Christian Burial in Triumph of the Holy Cross, St. Elizabeth of Hungary Church at 10:00 a.m. If desired, family suggests contributions to Anova Hospice, 875 Greentree Road #110, Pittsburgh, PA 15220.
