Condolences

  • December 11, 2019

Sincerest condolences to the Hrivnak family and especially to my dear friend since grade school, Rose Mary. May you all find comfort in your precious and many memories. . . . . Mrs. Hrivnak was a wonderful woman! I enjoyed being in her company, although it was not often enough. She was always very fashionably dressed, a big smile on her face, open-wide arms to embrace me, and like the Energizer bunny in being so busy! When she worked at Horne's in Whitehall, I'd often stop by to see her, even when I had nothing to purchase in her department. She was someone I loved to spend time with and, of course, to see how Rose Mary was doing. My mother would intentionally stop to see her, too, at Horne's. I've thought about Mrs. Hrivnak many times over the recent years and planned on stopping by at St. Norbert's to visit her. Unfortunately, I never did. I am sorry, Mrs. Hrivnak. . . . .R.I.P., Mrs. Hrivnak, you have certainly earned your spot in Heaven!
