Obituary For Frances E. (Parish) Bernard

Age 81, passed peacefully after a brief illness, on Wednesday, February 26, 2025, of Pleasant Hills.

Beloved wife of the late Andrew M. Bernard; loving mother of Michele (Jerry) Vien and Lori (Steve) Miller; proud Grandma of Ty, Peyton, Carson, Riley, Morgan and the late Gordon; daughter of the late Stephen and Mary Parish; sister of John (Carol) Parish and the late Susan (survived by John) Lipinski. Also survived by the Bernard family, the Scheuermann family, the Gibson family, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Fran was a longtime employee of Westinghouse in Large, PA. Following her retirement, she worked as a Technical Support Aide for West Jefferson Hills School District. Friends will be received at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood 15227 on Monday, March 3, 2025 from 4-8 p.m. Funeral prayer on Tuesday morning at 9:00. Mass of Christian Burial in Triumph of the Holy Cross Parish, St. Thomas a' Becket Church at 10:00 a.m. If desired, family suggests contributions to Triumph of the Holy Cross Parish, Administrative Office, 139 Gill Hall Rd, Jefferson Hills, PA 15025.
