Kappert, Francis C. "Butch" Age 72, on Saturday, September 10, 2016, of Kennedy Township formerly of Knoxville.

Beloved son of the late Francis R. and Mary Rita Kappert; loving brother of Susan (Al) Schoffstall, Sharon (Clyde) Brunk, Sandra (Don) Fisher and the late David Kappert; brother-in-law of Phyllis Kappert; cherished uncle of Mike, Jill, Brad, Eric, Amy, Lauren, Tim, Jen, Sara, Bob and their spouses and children. Friends will be received at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood 15227, Monday, 7-9 p.m. and Tuesday, 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Prayer on Wednesday Morning at 9:15 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial in St. Sylvester Church at 10:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, family suggests contributions to Citizen Care, Inc. 250 Clever Road, McKees Rocks, PA 15136 or Family Hospice and Palliative Care, 50 Moffett Street, Pittsburgh, PA 15243.
