Obituary For Franco DelBianco

Age 86, on Tuesday, August 29, 2023, of Baldwin Borough.

Beloved husband of 60 years to Gemma (Fantin) DelBianco; devoted father of Bruno (Lynette) and Rino (Christine); loving grandfather of Jared (Kassia), Brendan (Jillian), Mariah, Nathan and Christopher; great-grandfather of Magnolia; son of the late Angelo and Margherita (Masiol) DelBianco; brother of Vilma Mariutto, Maria Tracanelli of Canada and the late Valli and Luciana. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Franco was a retired cement mason with Local #526 and an avid outdoorsman with a passion for hunting. Friends will be received at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood 15227 on Friday, September 1, 2023 from 1-3 and 5-7 p.m. Funeral prayer on Saturday morning at 9:45. Mass of Christian Burial in Blessed Trinity Parish, St. Albert the Great Church at 10:30 a.m. If desired, family suggests contributions to your favorite charity in Franco's name.

    He was a lovely neighbor. He always waved hello and commented on how big my daughter was getting. He used to bring over baskets of peaches. I'm so sorry for your loss. I will miss his smiling face.
