Age 95, of Whitehall, went home to the Lord on Friday, November 26, 2021, after a long struggle with Alzheimer’s. Son of the late Vincent and Helen (Ludwig) Pechak and his late sister, Wilma Doyle; beloved husband of the late Joan; loving father of Lawrence, Maria Greco and Marc; grandfather of Gregory, Christina and Nicholas; great-grandfather of Emma and Sophia; uncle of Diane (Warman) Carney, Linda (Warman) Mifflin, Maria Doyle, and Gary, Darrin and Glenn Warman; brother-in-law of Thomas Doyle. Frank was an unassuming man who lived a simple life not caring about accumulating worldly possessions. He knew the big picture in life. He loved his family very much and will be dearly missed by all. He had worked at Continental Can Company for over 40 years until his retirement. The family would like to thank the entire staff at Heritage Hospice, especially nurses Stacy and Lexie, for their compassionate care and kindness toward Frank during these last several months. Memorial contributions can be sent, if desired, to the Alzheimer’s Association. Friends will be received at the JOHN F. SLATER FUNERAL HOME, INC., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood, 15227 on Tuesday, November 30, 2021, from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Funeral prayer on Wednesday morning at 9:45 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial in St. Gabriel of the Sorrowful Virgin Church at 10:30 a.m. Contact Us to have your link and message added here.
