Dear Vicky, I am so saddened to hear of our loss. Rick was a friend, someone you never forget. His gentle soul and caring heart was respected by all his friends and classmates. I vividly remember the many afternoons playing basketball on his home court. I was fortunate to have rekindled our friendship in the last few years. We were able to attend a Pirate game with a few other old classmates. We had a great time. Our 55 year class reunion, a couple of years ago, was another opportunity to spend some quality time with Rick. How can you not love this guy. He will be missed.

Dear Vicky, I am deeply saddened at the news of our loss. Rick was a friend and a gentleman in every aspect of life. I will always remember playing basketball with Rick at his home court. Rick will be missed by his classmates as he was well-liked and respected by all. I was very fortunate to have rekindled our friendship in the last couple of years. We, along with a few other classmates, attended a Pirate game and had a wonderful time. I will always remember Rick's gentle heart and I ask GOD to find a special place for Rick on HIS team. - Bruce Kincaid

Dear Vicky, my wife, Leslie and I are very sorry to hear from our old Creative Writing teacher, Dick Strojan that dear Rick had passed away. I first met Rick in 1951 when Rick and his Dad spent several hours putting asphalt on our driveway. Rick and I became fast friends ever since. We went through grade school and high school together and also we were in the church choir together. Rick had a gentle soul and everyone in our school class of 1962 loved Rick. I feel sad upon getting the news and has been eloquently said "No man is an island so the loss of Rick will be felt by all of us who remain here for a while. Love, Eddie and Leslie Hill
