 Age 92, passed peacefully on Tuesday, May 3, 2022, of Pittsburgh.   Loving husband of the late Dolores "Dee Dee" Baldesberger; devoted father of Debbie Baldesberger and Diane (the late Ken) Baldesberger; caring Pap of Christy (David Stahl) Baldesberger; brother of the late Joseph Baldesberger, Andrew Baldesberger and Mary Brophy.  Also survived by many nieces and nephews.  Gabe had a quick-witted sense of humor and loved spending his time at his home in Florida.  He was an avid fan of Pittsburgh sports, especially the Steelers.  Gabe retired in 1992 after working for the Port Authority for 35 years.  Gabe proudly served his country in the U.S. Army.  Friends will be received at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood 15227 on Friday, May 6, 2022 from 3-8 p.m.  Funeral prayer on Saturday morning at 9:30.
