Obituary For Gary A. Antonovich

Age 73, on Thursday, October 15, 2020, of Brentwood.

Beloved husband of Kathleen L. Edwards; cherished father of Amy (Rick) Gralish, Tracy (Dennis) Young and Melissa (Jamie) Prilla; devoted Papa of Ricky, Gracie and Erin Gralish, Hannah and Abby Prilla and Isabelle Young; son of the late Vincent and Esther (Haid) Antonovich; brother of Thomas (Judy) Antonovich and the late Janet (Joe) Macellaro; brother-in-law of the late Linda Edwards and Ray (survived by Rina) Edwards; uncle of Joe, Jeanine, Tom, Kathy, Dan, Phil and April. Gary was an avid NASCAR enthusiast and loved riding his Harley Davidson. He was a US Army veteran who proudly served his country during the Vietnam War and was retired from Port Authority Transit. Friends will be received at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood 15227 on Monday, October 19, 2020 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Funeral prayer on Tuesday morning at 9:45. Mass of Christian Burial in Blessed Trinity Parish, St. Sylvester Church at 10:30 a.m. Due to the current public health crisis, masks and social distancing guidelines must be adhered to.
