I worked with Gary at Buchanan Ingersoll and then years later and most recently at Reed Smith. He indeed was an excellent lawyer with a good sense of humor and a great ability to relate to and help clients in need. He was always friendly with colleagues and especially staff. My prayers are with the family. Dave Fawcett

My time at Reed Smith overlapped with Gary Walker. We became friends and colleagues. He was a wonderful person and an excellent lawyer. He was a zealous counsel to his many clients, and a dear friend to his many colleagues. Gary always spoke about his family in the most kindest of terms. Whenever I spoke with Gary he had an uplifting effect on me. He will be missed. The world is much poorer with his passing. Rest in Peace, Gary. Michael Bleier

Sharon, Brandon and Alex, I have had the privilege and the joy of knowing Gary for over 60 years. We played army together. We went to grade school, junior high school, high school, college and law school together. We laughed a lot together and sometimes cried together. We supported each other through happy times, illness and family tragedy. His friendship, loyalty and devotion never wavered. I will miss our phone calls (always lengthy) in which we discussed legal issues, politics, gossip and the world's problems which, if they let us, he and I could solve very easily. He was one of the smartest lawyers I have ever known, not to mention the hardest working. In this day and age, it is rare to share almost your entire life with someone. I have had that gift with Gary. I shall cherish my time with him, never ever forget him and smile every time I remember when he got us thrown out of the Ritz Disco when we were in law school. Peace to you and your family! Chris Spina and family.

Sharon & Family ~ I had the pleasure of being a classmate of Gary's at Duquesne University School of Law over four decades ago. Over the ensuing years we stayed in touch through mutual friends and business associates. I will miss his wit, wisdom and wry take on our profession. May you find solace in the joyous memories of your time together. John J Braszo
