Age 95, of Overbrook, passed away peacefully on Thursday, March 9, 2023. Born on December 2, 1927, he was the loving husband of Dolores H. (Bonczek) Blum; loving father of Ellen Jane Kisco and Jeffrey (Monica) Blum; loving grand-dad to Molly and Gabe; brother of the late Lynn, Carlyle and Robert; fourth son of his late parents, Jacob Christian Blum and Edna Mae (Cross) Blum. He served in the U.S. Army and was a longtime Prudential Insurance representative in the South Hills area. George was a member of the Pittsburgh Glider Club and the Mon-Valley R.C. Club, he enjoyed anything connected to aviation. He was a man of integrity, honesty, and good humor. George made every day a better day and he will be loved and cherished for the rest of our lives.
