Obituary For George F. Brinker

May 7, 1939 - November 13, 2017

Brinker, George F., age 78, passed peacefully with his family by his side, on Monday, November 13, 2017 of Overbrook, formerly of the South Side. Beloved husband of 56 years to Sally (Pucci) Brinker; loving father of George M. (Carolyn) Brinker, Steven E. (Jennifer) Brinker and Laura M. (Bernie) Antonio; adored grandfather of Michael, Nicholas, Tyler, Colin, Joey and Jordyn. George served in the U.S. Navy. Retired from Allegheny County Jail as a guard. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. There will be no visitation. Mass of Christian Burial in St. Pius X Roman Catholic Church on Friday, November 17, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. followed by full military honors. EVERYONE PLEASE MEET AT CHURCH. Arrangements made by John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood 15227. In lieu of flowers, family suggests contributions be made to Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, 333 E. Carson St., Ste. 441, Pittsburgh, PA 15219.
