Obituary For George W. Rebholz

September 28, 1944 - July 19, 2018

Rebholz, George W. Age 73, of Pittsburgh (Carrick) died on July 19, 2018.

He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Marilyn (Meder) Rebholz, sons Eric W. (Kristen) and David M. Rebholz, and by his two granddaughters, Grace Anne and Lillian Marie Rebholz, who could always put a smile on PapPap's face. Also survived by his siblings, Sylvester J., Edward F., Sr. and Shirley Rebholz, Margaret "Peggy" McCleary, and many loved nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his parents Eleanor M. (Hall) and Sylvester H. Rebholz, and sister, Bernice "Bunny" Abbott. George was a life-long member of the Laborer's Local Union 1058. Friends will be received at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Browsville Road, Brentwood 15227, Sunday, July 22, 2018, 2-4 and 6-9 p.m. Funeral Prayer on Monday morning at 9:45 am. Mass of Christian Burial in Holy Apostles Parish in St. Basil Church at 10:30 a.m. In lieu of flowers, family suggests that a donation be made to a charity of your choice in George's name.
