Hancock, Geraldine V. "Gerry" (Geraci) Gerry worked in HR at Gimbel's and retired from Consumer Credit Counseling in her 70's. She was proudest of her family and looked forward to the annual summer vacation in Wildwood. In her retirement years, Gerry volunteered at the Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank and the South Side Market House. A special thanks to Anova Hospice for their compassionate care. Friends will be received at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood 15227 Wednesday, May 29, 2024 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Funeral Prayer on Thursday morning at 9:45. Mass of Christian Burial in Blessed Trinity Parish, St. Sylvester Church at 10:30 a.m. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to The Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank, 1 N. Age 85 passed away peacefully on Monday, May 27, 2024, of Brentwood. Loving mother of Timothy (Tammy) Hancock and Kimberly (Mark) Kusmira; grandmother of Hannah (Stephan Steedley) Hancock, Natalie Kusmira and Ryan Kusmira; great-grandma of Conor Rae Steedley and our angel Navy James. Gerry is also survived by her sister and best friend Carol (Ron) Coultas; cherished niece Bernadette (George) Farah and leaves behind nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.Photos & Video
