Obituary For Gerard B. Bachner

Age 95, on Tuesday, August 3, 2021 of Baldwin Borough.

Beloved husband of the late Ruth (Potts) Bachner; loving father of Robin (Paul) Falk, Ruth Ann (Greg) Witmer, Judy (Keith) Brula, Gerette (Todd) Naylor and Stephen (Lisa) Bachner; cherished grandfather of Dan (Joanna), Nathan, Wade (Sevahna), Matt (Nikki), Jacob and Will; great-grandfather of Gunner, Chloe and Wolfe. Gerard was a member of IBEW #5 and the American Legion Post 540. Friends will be received at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood 15227 on Thursday, August 5, 2021 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Funeral prayer on Friday morning at 9:45. Mass of Christian Burial in Blessed Trinity Parish, St. Wendelin Church at 10:30 a.m.
