Obituary For Gerri R. "Stack" (Bilski, Grabowski) Stachevich

Age 83, peacefully in her home on Tuesday, March 16, 2021, of Bridgeville, formerly of Baldwin Boro.

Beloved wife of Ronald M. Stachevich and the late Leonard J. Bilski; loving mother of Jeffrey R. Bilski, Leonard J. (Mary) Bilski and Sharon (Amato) DiMatteo, Michael A. Stachevich and the late Lynn McGinnis; proud "GiGi" of 17 grandchildren (including the late Leonard and James Bilski) and 10 3/4 great-grandchildren; sister of Ralph W. (Mary) Grabowski. Also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws and friends. Friends will be received at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood 15227 on Thursday, March 18, 2021 from 2-8 p.m. Funeral prayer on Friday morning at 9:15. Mass of Christian Burial in Our Lady of Hope Parish, St. Gabriel of the Sorrowful Virgin Church at 10:00 a.m. Masks are required and social distancing guidelines must be followed. In lieu of flowers, family suggests contributions to the American Cancer Society (Head and Neck Cancer) @www.cancer.org.

    Mom-thank you for being my best friend. For being there and always supporting us No matter what we did or what we needed. I am so grateful for have these past 6 years to spend every day with you-care for you. Till the very end-making sure you were not a burden. Thank you for giving our family so much joy-you are a true monarch. I know you are in a much better place-with your parents, your first true love, your daughter and 2 grandsons. No more pain-you can breath, swallow, eat and most important-talk. I will do all I can to carry on your goodwill-your caring ways.
