It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of Gloria Eileen Rohal, a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. She passed away surrounded by family on September 15, 2026. She was 82 years old.

She was born in Connellsville, Pennsylvania to Paul Holden and Sarah Kerfoot. She is survived by two siblings, Paul Holden (his wife, Myra) and Patricia Richter (her husband Roger). She has two daughters, Christine Marincic (her husband Jay) and Diane Reposh. She has two grandsons, Galen Reposh (his wife Kylie) and Deven Marincic. Her nieces are Laurie Arevalo (her life partner Scott Trump), her sons Dr. Alfonso Arevalo (his wife Jacqui) and Dr. Ian Arevalo (his fiancé Kayla); Nikki Provance (her husband Ralph); Joelle Guilfoyle (her husband Paul) and their children Sarah Tomlinson (her husband Michael), Julia Bellido (her husband Misho), and Joey Guilfoyle (his wife Nichole); and her nephews Paul Holden, Jr. and Mark Holden. She had many other relatives and friends who deeply loved her.

Gloria preferred to be called by her middle name, Eileen (or Nana if you were one of the kids). Eileen worked for many years the meat department at the local grocery store. After retiring, she attended Westmoreland Community College and graduated with an Associates Degree in Medical Billing. But her proudest accomplishment in life was her family. Eileen’s life centered around loving, supporting and bringing together her loved ones. She truly cherished her time with family.

Eileen’s family and friends will remember her soft voice, her kind words, her thoughtfulness, her quiet strength and her willingness to help out in any way she could. She made even the most ordinary moments feel special.

As a mother, Eileen led by example teaching hard work, kindness, gratitude, love and the ability to listen. Her children would say that their mother was the first person they would call with good news, and the first person they would call when things fell apart.

She loved baking cookies for Christmas with her daughter Christine. They would bake cookies and distribute them to family, friends, neighbors and co-workers. Each year many people waited for and delighted in their holiday treats.

Eileen was also known as amazing seamstress. From the time her girls were little she spent hours creating coordinating outfits for each holiday and for the Olan Mills portraits every year. Diane's love of fashion came from sitting with her mom looking through patterns and picking just the right fabrics to make their designs.

She was also known for crocheting the most beautiful afghans and baby clothes. Her grandson Galen picked up this talent and the two of them would discuss patterns and difficult stitches.

Deven has such found memories from when he was little of watching wrestling (WWE) with his Nana. Then, when Eileen would go to her sister’s house for the weekend, she would watch wrestling with Roger, Patty and Nikki.

Her brother Paul remembers their Sunday visits where they would sit and "solve all of the world’s problems”.

Her sister, Patty, has many found memories of practicing their dancing on the back porch before going to the Fire Hall. She said that Eileen was the better dancer!

She was so close with everyone and her nieces have fond memories of her.

Laurie remembers her soft, sweet voice and how easy she was to talk to no matter when they spoke. Laurie remembers how good she was to her sons, crocheting blankets and sweater sets for them when they had their children. She was also Laurie’s older son Alfonso’s Godmother and made his Christening outfit for that day.

Joelle remembers her kindness when Eileen borrowed a crib from someone for the first time she brought her daughter Sarah to Pennsylvania to meet everyone. That was how she lived, putting others first. Joelle remembers how much fun they had with Sarah’s kids just a month or so ago. Eileen loved children and everyone’s kids.

Nikki remembers Eileen and her mother Patty having marathon crochet sessions every weekend. She said that you could hear the music in the car when Eileen pulled up before you would see her. Eileen watched horror movies with Nikki, Patty and Roger, but she drew the line at the Shining.

She was a woman of faith who was incredibly easy to love. She carried a Bible verse in her purse and in her car: “I am the light of the world; he who follows Me will not walk in darkness but will have the light of life.” – John 8:12

Eileen’s loving spirit was evident to all who knew her. She will be deeply missed but always remembered. Her love remains a guiding presence for all who knew her.
