Obituary For Gloria J. Sarcone

October 26, 1934 - March 18, 2018

Sarcone, Gloria J. Age 83, on Sunday, March 18, 2018, of Carrick/Hazelwood.

Beloved wife of the late Alex "Nick" Sarcone; loving mother of Sandra (Behrooz) Rahimzadeh, Janice (Constantino) DiPaolo and Damien (Tina) Sarcone; cherished grandmother of 11 and great-grandmother of nine. Friends will be received at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood 15227, Tuesday, March 20, 2018, 3:00 pm - 8:00 pm. Funeral Prayer on Wednesday morning at 9:45 am. Mass of Christian Burial in Holy Apostles Parish in St. Norbert Church at 10:30 a.m. In lieu of flowers, family suggests contributions to The Wounded Warrior Project.

    My heart aches as I am reading this because Gloria was one of my favorite residents and every time I walk pass her room I will remember our talks together. And how she brighten my day even when she was declining in health she still said something that would bring a smile to my face. I know we all think our Mothers are special but she was one special lady to me. Now she will be enjoying her time with her husband who she always would tell me about . May you all find peace with your memories and know you did all you could do for her and she appreciated all of you!
