Obituary For Gordon Anthony Gency

Age 86, on Thursday, October 28, 2021, formerly of Baldwin, currently of Lancaster.

Beloved husband of 57 years to Nancy (Hayward); loving father of Gordon (Debora) Gency; son of the late Stephen and Mary (Sloboda) Gency; brother of Burnell (Ellen) Gency; uncle of Pam Gency. Friends will be received at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood 15227 on Wednesday, November 3, 2021 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Funeral prayer on Thursday morning at 9:15. Mass of Christian Burial in Triumph of the Holy Cross, St. Elizabeth of Hungary Church at 10:00 a.m. If desired, family suggests contributions to Hospice and Community Care, 4075 Old Harrisburg Pike, Mount Joy, PA 17552.

    Gordon was a dear friend of my father. I have many childhood memories of Sunday picnics at Ohiopyle and at Mary's with Gordon and Bud. We had loads of fun and built fond memories. Rest in Peace, Gordon. My sympathy to your Family and Friends. Bettie Grace Orr

    I have very found memories of Gordon visiting my family in Wallingford Connecticut. He and Nancy came to visit me in Florida maybe 25 years ago. We had a lovely lunch sitting next to the beach....💕
