On July 30, 2026, surrounded by family, Greg "Rhino" A. Reinheimer went home to see his dad, Herb, and brother, Herbie. He was a strong warrior who was an inspiration to everyone who had the honor of knowing him. His wife, Shari; his children, Jake, Kyra, Sam, David, Shane, Katelynn, Zach, Cait, Kevin, Alex, Jessica, and Emily; his grandchildren, Addy, Teddy, Millie, and a little one coming soon; his mom, Mary; mothers- and fathers-in-law, Carol and Al, Ed and Barbara; sister, Tracy; brother-in-law, Ed; brothers-in-law, Ed, Kevin, Brian, Luke; sisters-in-law, Kendra, Rachel, and Liz; nephews and nieces, Cody, Aislinn, Adam, Sophia, Jeremy, Jenna, Hayden; Uncle like a brother, Don; Aunts like moms, Nancy, Carol, and Cindy; cousins like brothers and sisters, Curt, Brian, Marshall, and Jena; honorary brother, Blair; honorary sister, Shannon; honorary niece, Mackenzi; honorary nephew, Danny; and so many more aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends are all left here knowing we're better people for having been considered family by Greg. He built a legacy of love, honor, strength, and family, and the world is brighter from his time here. It's not about the what or the where- it's the who, so even though he left this place too soon, he will live on in our hearts. Friends will be received at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood on Tuesday, August 4, 2026 from 2-4 p.m. and 5-8 p.m. Funeral prayer on Wednesday at 8:45 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial in St. Thomas the Apostle Parish, St. Therese of Lisieux Church, Munhall, PA at 10:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to the Judy Nicholson Kidney Cancer Foundation, jnfkidneycancer.org.

Greg has been my neighbor for over 6 years. From the first day I moved in he was always there to lend a helping hand. I will sadly and surely already do miss our front porch evening chats! He and Shari have been the best neighbors and welcomed me into their home and family as if I were family. Greg you will be missed so much and sending my deepest condolences to the family.

I am sorry for your loss. I heard about Greg's passing from some classmates ar Kelton School. Greg was in my Kindergarten class! I actually remember Mrs. Douglas' birthday bulletin board and that Greg's birthday because it was the day before mine. It's funny the little memories we hold. Rest in peace to Greg. Love Katie O'Connell

I just learned of this news from my cousin in the Pittsburgh area. I played football with Greg in little league and later in high school at Keystone Oaks. In little league we were the champions in Dormont. I was a running back and he was one of the offensive linemen. He made my running a lot easier along. We also played baseball together too when we were quite young. I remember his dad being one of the coaches. I wish the family comfort and peace. May his memory be eternal. 1 Corinthians 15 Peace, George A James
