Obituary For Gregory F. Kijanka

July 17, 1951 - May 15, 2015

Kijanka, Gregory F. Age 63, on Friday, May 15, 2015, of Whitehall .

Beloved husband of Cheryl (Leavey); loving father of Courtney Kijanka; son of the late Stanley and Gertrude Kijanka. Also survived by best friend of 58 yrs Joe Colgan and his beloved dogs Abby and Lily. Friends will be received at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood 15227, Sunday and Monday from 2-8 pm. Funeral Prayer on Tuesday morning at 9 am. Mass of Christian Burial in St. Adalbert Church at 10. If desired, family suggests contributions to Multiple Sclerosis Society, PA Keystone Chapter, 1501 Reedsdale St., Suite 105, Pittsburgh, PA 15233.

    I graduated with Greg from the Business School at Duquesne University. Greg was a great guy & friend. My sympathy to both of you, Cheryl & Courtney. Also to Joe Colgan who was a wonderful part of our Duquesne group - I'm sure Greg appreciated Joe's friendship during all those years. God bless Greg and your family.
