Obituary For Gregory H. Hall

April 3, 1968 - September 15, 2015

Hall, Gregory Hamilton Age 47, suddenly on Sunday, September 13, 2015 of Washington, PA.

Our family lost a good man Sunday evening, the 13th of September, and we aren't quite sure what to do without him. The world can be a harsh place, but it was always a little less harsh while Greg's generous soul, big heart, immense courage and infectious sense of humor were a part of it. There was no one quite like him - goofy, smart, ambitious, hardworking, ALWAYS thinking and ?¦ did we say goofy? In the end though, the ugly illness that had tormented him for so long created more pain than even his expansive soul could master. He waged a long battle with that demon, and gave it a hard run. Greg was good at that. He was tough.

But his time, he knew, had come.

We will miss his sweet disposition, his helping hands, his keen intelligence, his fundamental goodness, and his big bear hugs. His Mom and Terry, and his brothers Gary, Steve, T.J and Matt will miss him most of all. But we hope we will all see him again soon in the better place where he now awaits us ?¦ smiling, with his arms wide and welcoming.

Beloved son of Andrea (Terry) Hoff and the late Gary H. Hall, Sr.; brother of Gary H. Hall, Jr., Stephen E. Hall, T.J. Hoff and Matthew Hoff. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, September 26th at 2 p.m. in the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Rd., Brentwood 15227.
