(Timothy) Recker and Kimberley (Donald) Christy; devoted grandfather of Richard Thompson III, the late Ryan Bopp, Angela (Stephen) Peters, Christina (Jayson) Monroe, Zachary (Katy) Bopp, Nicholas Smith, Taylor Smith, Corey Bopp, Nicole (Craig) Berenda, Benjamin Smith, Sydney Smith, Justin, Joshua and Luke Recker; great-grandfather of Madison Monroe, Myles Gratzmiller, Wrenna Peters, Kolson Peters, Jayson "JJ" Monroe, Mason Berenda, Zachary Bopp, Jr., Saige Recker, Zara Peters, and Delainey Berenda; son of the late Donald and Wilma Smith; brother of Patricia (the late Kenneth) Robinson and the late Edith (Dale) Eisenhuth. Also survived by nieces, nephews, friends and his fur baby Bear. Friends will be received at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood 15227 on Friday, April 19, 2024 from 2-4 and 6-7:30 p.m. A blessing service will follow at 7:30 p.m.
