Obituary For Harold W. Barrowman, Jr.

Harold W. Barrowman, age 68, on Tuesday, December 10, 2024, of Baldwin Borough.

Beloved husband of Dawn Lawson; father of Lindsey Barrowman (Mike Estok), Ashley (Steve) Timko and Kristy (Espen Beverfjord) Barrowman; Pappy of Kaylee, Arden, Emery and Ainsley; son of the late Harold W. and Grace (Nort) Barrowman. Harold worked for more than 30 years as the Supervisor for Baldwin Borough Public Works Department. He was a CYO Coach for Saint Wendelin School basketball. He also coached Tee-ball and softball for North Baldwin Athletic Association, also coaching softball for the Pittsburgh Lady Roadrunners. He founded the Sons of the American Legion Post #935 in North Baldwin and was a bartender there for 48 years. Friends will be received at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Pittsburgh, PA 15227 on Saturday and Sunday, December 14 & 15, 2024 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. where a blessing service will be held in the funeral home Chapel on Monday morning at 10:30 a.m. If desired family suggests flowers or contributions be sent to Sons of the American Legion Post #935, 280 Joseph Street, Pittsburgh, PA 15227.
