Obituary For Harriet Jane Harms

March 16, 1947 - March 12, 2017

Harms, Harriet Jane (Steele) After a courageous battle with lung cancer, on Sunday, March 12, 2017, of Baldwin Boro.

Beloved wife of 52 years to Larry Harms; loving mother of James (Lori), Michael (Carmela), Lauren (Lars) and Samantha Harms; cherished Nana to James, Jr., Zach, Cassidy and Bernadette Harms; daughter of the late James and Grace Steele; sister of Mary Lou (Mike) Corbett, Joyce Schreibeis and John Steele; sister-in-law of Mary Ann (the late Len) Sobieszczyk; also survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Friends will be received at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood 15227, Tuesday and Wednesday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Funeral Prayer on Thursday morning at 10:00. Funeral services at Spencer Methodist Church at 11 a.m.
