Obituary For Heidi M. (Denk) Tomasko

Tomasko, Heidi M. (Denk) Age 49, of Brookline, after a courageous bout with cancer, on Friday, April 22, 2022.

Beloved wife of 24 years to Paul A. Tomasko; proud mom of Ben and Allyson Tomasko; daughter of Juanita (Dom) Labella and the late Norman Denk; daughter-in-law of Ernest and Norma Tomasko; cherished sister of Kellie (D.J. Petrelli) Denk and Ashley Hildreth; sister-in-law of Corie (Bill) Stewart and Karen (Eric) Thompson; stepsister of Steven (Shirley), Megan and Joseph LaBella. Also survived by aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, co-workers and many friends. Heidi has been an educator for K-12th grades for 24 years, recently as principal of Arlington K-8. Throughout her career she has dedicated and successfully touched the lives of thousands of children. Friends will be received at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood 15227, Thursday, April 28, 2022, 2:00 p.m. - until the time of Blessing Service at 7:45 p.m. Funeral services will be held privately. Heidi always encouraged me, supported me, and believed in me-- both as a teacher and a leader--when so many others did not. I owe her so much and I will miss her terribly!
