Obituary For Helen B. Borst

September 22, 1926 - September 19, 2015

Borst, Helen B. (Bernhard), age 88, on Saturday, September 19, 2015 of New Jersey, formerly of Baldwin. Beloved wife of the late George Borst; loving mother of Debra (Allan Hill) Borst of Johnston, RI and Michael (Linda) Borst of Monmouth Beach, NJ; daughter of the late William and Margaret (Bishop) Bernhard. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Friends will be received at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood 15227 on Friday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of her blessing service at Noon. Interment will follow in Greenwood Cemetery in Wheeling, WV at 2:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, family suggests contributions to your local Meals on Wheels or St. Gabriel School Library, 5200 Greenridge Drive Pittsburgh, PA 15236.

    Michael Mountain and the Hall family, neighbors on Gardenville Road for many, many years, remembers how nice Mrs. Borst was to us as we used to play in everyone's yard while growing up. We will remember her! Our hearts go out to the family in your time of sorrow.
