Mather, Helen B. "Lou Lou" (Bailie) Age 91, on Tuesday, August 22, 2017, of Whitehall.

Beloved wife of the late Robert A. Mather; loving mother of Martin E. (Barbara) Mather, Bonnie M. (Rich) Katilius, Emily A. Mather and the late Robert L. Mather; caring grandmother of Gina Murphy, Gary Walker, Krystal Mather, Darcie Mather, Audra Katilius, Sean Becker and Kelly Katilius; sister of William (Myrna) Bailie and the late Dorothy (survived by Charles) Harriger; also survived by nieces, nephews and many loving friends. Helen was a life member of the Eastern Star #491 and was a proud member of the Red Hat Society and a beloved member of BCUMC where she was fondly known as "Queen of the Balcony." Special thanks to the staff of Asbury Heights and Via Quest Hospice for all of their loving care that was shown to Helen. Please come celebrate the life of Helen wearing her favorite color red. Do not mourn her passing. We will all see her again in heaven. Friends will be received at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood 15227, Friday, August 25, 2017, from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Saturday in Baldwin Community United Methodist Church at 11 a.m. in the chapel.
