Obituary For Helen C. Carbonare

Age 98, passed peacefully on Saturday, November 9, 2024, of Brentwood. Beloved wife of the late Everette Carbonare; loving mother of Karen Carbonare and James (the late Irene "Fussy") (Shirley Mooney); cherished grandmother of Ashley (Marcus) McWhirter and Brandon (Nicole) Carbonare; proud great-grandmother of Jayde Carbonare, Natalia, Katarina, Lilianna and Luca McWhirter; special longtime friend of Liz Hric. Helen was a long time member of St. Sylvester Church. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her. Friends will be received at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood 15227 on Thursday, November 14, 2024 from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. Funeral prayer on Friday morning at 9:45 with Mass of Christian Burial in Blessed Trinity Parish, St. Sylvester Church at 10:30 a.m.

She was a wonderful neighbor to our family and many others on Hillson Ave. She regularly stopped by to check on my brother and parents.
