I pray the wonderful memories of Helen will be a comfort to all the people in this world who loved her. I was priviliged to have her as my Godmother, a role she took seriously. Not only was she there for me every step in my life, but kept me well supplied with angels and crosses! I enjoyed many Saturdays with her & her sisters and her at lunch and shopping. Always searching for the perfect card or gift for someone she loved. I will especially miss calling her the special way she said 'hello" when she answered the phone. She was a generous and loving person, I am only one of many who will miss her greatly.

Barbie and Kevin, I am so sorry for your loss. Your Mom was a great friend of my Mom, and like a second mother to me. Growing up, Judy was my best friend, and I still remember those early years we lived across the street from each other on the South Side and walked to St. John's School together. After your family moved to Castle Shannon, I was a regular guest at your home during the Christmas vacation, often during the summer, and many weekends in between. When I was was visiting I was always treated like one of the family. I have so many fond memories of those times. I moved away from Pittsburgh, but as the years went by, your Mom always kept in touch. She was very supportive when I lost my Mom 3 years ago. I feel that no matter how far apart we were, she was always there for me. She was a very special person.

Thoughts and prayers go out to all of the family. Helen was a beautiful person. I have very fond memories of her when she would visit Judy or when I would go to her place with Judy. I will never forget the kindness she showed to me when Judy passed away by allowing me to continue to live in Judy's house for awhile. I have fond memories of Judy's 40th birthday party with her and other family members. I know that she has missed Judy and will be happy to be reunited with her. I know she is happy now in the presence of our loving savior, Jesus Christ. Your family will always have a spot in my heart.
