Obituary For Helen M. (Pietrzak) Tuite

Age 80, peacefully at home on Tuesday, August 12, 2025, of Baldwin, formerly of Brentwood.

Loving wife of David D. Tuite; beloved mother of Robert J. (Marcy) Schugg and Lynne (Al) Balparda; proud "Grandma Dave" of R.J. Schugg (Jonathon Mihalick) and Lauren Schugg (John Dunn); cherished sister of Dot (the late Michael) Javorski and the late Edward J. Pietrzak, Jr. Also survived and will be missed by the Tuite family, the Deep family, the Kirch family, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. As per Helen's wishes, a memorial service will be held at a later date. Arrangements handled by the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood 15227.

    I was deeply saddened to hear about the passing of my dearest friend Helen. My heartfelt condolences to the Tuite and Schugg families. Helen was truly a special person whose love for her family was profound. I will miss her phone calls so much but will never forget her. She will remain in my heart always. Thankful to have had her in my life as we shared a lot during our professional lives at the Allegheny County Department Of Human Services and personally after our retirements.
